    Learn a little more about the interesting culture and traditions of this town.

    This museum is located in the centre of Santa Marta de los Barros in the province of Badajoz. During your visit you'll be able to see and learn about calderonite, a mineral indigenous to the area, as well as minerals from around the world. Workshops on palaeontology, gold panning and identification of minerals are organised and participation is possible by prior appointment. The visit also includes a tour of the mines of Santa Marta and the Lagunar de la Albuera Complex.
